Plot: A New York business executive (Christian Bale) hides his homicidal tendencies from friends and co-workers until they threaten to overwhelm him.
Tanya’s Verdict: American Psycho has moments of dark comedy and moments of senseless violence but I feel like it goes off the rails as it rattles steadily toward a conclusion. And what is the conclusion anyway? Jury may still be out on that one.
I’m willing to bet the book is better.
