Most definitely not a sequel to the godawful The Boss Baby.

Rated: 14A

Starring: The questionably attractive Ansel Elgort, the unquestionably bug-eyed Jon Hamm, the questionably toupeed Kevin Spacey and the unquestionably big-toothed Jamie Foxx.

Plot: Baby (Elgort) is an odd duck with tinnitus who happens to have a tragic past as well as a knack for extreme driving. He is the get-away driver for Spacey’s crime boss character’s many heists due to a debt he owes him. Of course, even after the debt is paid, Baby is roped into one last heist – but as we all know the final one never goes as smoothly as planned.

Tanya’s Verdict: I’m normally not a fan of the action movie which is why you’ll never find me laying eyes on any of The Fast and the Furious franchise. However, this one’s different. First off, it’s directed by the genius behind Shaun of the Dead (2004) and The World’s End (2013). It is visually creative, uncannily funny and cleverly interwoven with music throughout. I found the first half better than the second but pretty much enjoyed the movie in its entirety.
