It was deja vu to the nth degree watching this movie in a theatre alongside my parents.

Rated: PG

Starring: Child-like Michael J. Fox (he was 24 at the time), typically eccentric Christopher Lloyd, fresh-faced Lea Thompson, and Crispin Glover (pre-lunacy).

Plot: Teenager Marty McFly is accidentally transported 30 years into the past where he unintentionally messes up his parents’ meet cute which threatens his very existence.

Tanya’s Verdict: More than 30 years later and this movie is just as f***ing good as I remember it! The local theatre was playing it on Canada Day so I took all three kids to see it as well as my parents and everyone enjoyed it. It’s funny, it’s quirky, it’s clever and it’s entertaining – good for all ages. A bit of trivia: Huey Lewis makes a cameo (while also providing a couple of memorable ditties for the soundtrack) and before jumping ship in Titanic, Billy Zane gets sh**-faced (literally) alongside his crony Biff.
