Okay – but part one is better.

Rated: R

Starring: the less weird-looking Duplass brother

Plot: A fledgeling filmmaker agrees to film a day in the life of a self-described serial killer with unnerving results.

Tanya’s Verdict: This movie is a sequel to the 2014 film Creep which I enjoyed mainly due to Mark Duplass’s often frenzied and unpredictable portrayal of a psychopath. In Creep 2 – he’s still working his magic but the movie itself is underwhelming maybe because it’s a re-hash of what was already done a few years earlier. In my opinion, it’s okay as far as low-budget and subtle thrillers go, but the ending is confusing and I have no idea what to make of it. At least with the first Creep, the conclusion is as clearcut as an axe to the brain.
