Rated: PG
Starring: typical Will Ferrell, typical Marky Mark, typical John Cena
Plot: Remember the first one? Same except now granddads are involved played by cool, sh**-disturbing Mel Gibson and sweet, clueless John Lithgow. A bunch of slapstick comedy ensues over the Christmas holidays while dads and step-dads attempt to maintain familial calm in addition to familial bonding across the generations.
Tanya’s Verdict: I laughed twice yet the movie was still insipid and ran about 20 minutes too long. A couple of awesome 80s tracks STILL couldn’t save this bland flop. Although the kids claimed to have enjoyed it, there was plenty of restless squirming near the end.
