Tanya’s Score: Good*
Rated: 14A
Starring: the sorority sister from Neighbours 2; the bell hop from The Grand Budapest Hotel; Zoë Kravitz
Plot: A self-proclaimed geek (Shameik Moore) and his two friends (Kiersey Clemons; Tony Revolori) living in a tough neighbourhood, embark on an unplanned life-and-death adventure when they accidentally become involved with a local drug dealer (ASAP Rocky).
Tanya’s Verdict: Another movie about a chain reaction of events set in motion by one very specific action – but this one has a fresh-feeling plot with young and compelling actors. I enjoyed it the first time around and this second time when watching with my girls. (They liked it too). It’s streaming on Netflix in case you’re interested.
