Plot: In 1963, a boy and girl grow up in the same neighbourhood and happen to have complicated feelings toward each other.
Tanya’s Verdict: I cannot believe this movie has existed since 2010 and it’s only now that I’ve discovered it (thanks to a friend of mine). It is a cute story that flip flops between the boy’s, then the girl’s perspective – hence the title. While seemingly a simple, wholesome film, the plot hints at several darker issues that are never fully explored. Nevertheless, Flipped is an enjoyable family film that everyone will enjoy.
