Plot: Four children are locked in an attic by their mother and grandmother with promises of riches once their supposedly mean grandfather dies.
Tanya’s Verdict: This movie is just as godawful as it was the first time I saw it when I was thirteen. Based on the first in a series of gothic novels written by V.C. Andrews, the film is as much an abomination as the movie grandmother (Louise Fletcher) claims her grandkids born of incest are.
