Tanya’s Score: In between Okay and Good*
Rated: TV-MA
Starring: a couple of people you may or may not find familiar; Elliott – all growed up
Plot: A woman left hand-cuffed to her bed in a remote lake house must fight demons from both past and present in order to survive.
Tanya’s Verdict: This movie had its moments – after all it is borne from the creative yet macabre imaginings of Stephen King. I liked what it attempted to do – I’m just not certain it achieved all it set out to accomplish. Also – there is a lot of unnecessary (in my opinion) explanation at the end. All in all, not a bad Netflix thriller to waste some time on. Word of warning: while there are a few decent jump scares throughout – there is one completely grotesque scene that I only watched through my fingers.
