This one is always a crowd-pleaser. Feel free to add a bit more sour cream and cheese to make a creamier casserole or less for a crispier one. A perfect pairing with ham or turkey. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
Ingredients:
2 lb. (1kg) bag of hash browns
1 c. diced onion
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 Lg. (450g) container of sour cream
1 c. grated cheddar cheese (or more)
1/4 c. melted butter
1 t. salt
1 t. pepper
Thaw the hash browns for about 30 minutes. Then mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Spoon into a greased 13″ x 9″ casserole dish and bake at 350F for one hour.
