Light and airy – but in the end nothing special.

Rated: PG-13

Starring: an unpredictable Mark Ruffalo, a steadfast Zoe Saldana

Plot: A bipolar man (Ruffalo) agrees to take care of his daughters while his wife (Saldana) upgrades her university education in another state for the betterment of the family.

Tanya’s Verdict: This movie takes on a light and quirky view of a family’s challenges when faced with mental illness. There are several times when it could have taken a dark turn, but instead it stays in the light. The end result is an airy and flippant film that is lacking in depth but is at times funny. Still – nothing special.
