Plot: An instagram stalker (Plaza) becomes obsessed with winning the friendship of a social media pseudo-celebrity (Olsen).
Tanya’s Verdict: Taking place in California among young and beautiful people, this movie is seemingly light and bright. But don’t let this initial image fool you – it is in fact dark and seamy and the more I think about it, the more hauntingly scary it becomes. Brilliantly written, wonderfully acted – Ingrid Goes West may not actually be a horror movie but it sure did scare the sh** out of me. I loved it!
