Plot: A female astronaut (Natalie Portman) returns to earth after a space mission and begins to take out-of-character risks in both her professional and personal life.
Tanya’s Verdict: Remember that true story about the female astronaut who stalked another astronaut she was caught up in a love triangle with? And she drove across country to find him while supposedly wearing a diaper? Well – this movie is loosely based on that situation.
Lucy in the Sky is a character study of an intelligent and competitive astronaut who slowly begins to unravel.
While not a bad movie, it really doesn’t stand out from all the other “not bad” movies out there.
