Starring: two Hughs and a Sally
Plot: Paddington the bear takes on a series of odd jobs in order to raise money to buy his Aunt Lucy the perfect present for her 100th birthday. But before he can make the purchase, the gift-to-be is stolen and Paddington takes the fall and ends up in prison.
Tanya’s Verdict: I see a lot of children’s movies and while the majority of them are not bad, every once in a while there is a needle within the haystack that really stands out. This is that needle. It was amusing from beginning to end both visually and emotionally. And if there is anyone out there who doesn’t find that little bear so G.D. endearing, then I don’t want to meet them. Plus, all three of my kids loved it as well.
