Tanya’s Score: Okay-and-a-half*
Rated: 14A
Starring: a pretty woman, a pedo-esque moustache
Plot: A woman (Julia Roberts) fakes her own death to escape her controlling husband (Patrick Bergin) only to realize he’s not that easy to outsmart.
Tanya’s Verdict: This is a simple thriller – there’s not all that much detail provided to the characters and their back stories (or their forward stories), there’s not all that much going on in terms of plot. But, if you’re looking for a pretty okay thriller that depicts a powerful woman doing what she must to live her life – then this 30-year-old film may be just the one.
