Plot: A jazz musician (Jamie Foxx) hovers between life and death and must rely on an as yet unborn soul (Tina Fey) to help him return to his earthly body.
Tanya’s Verdict: This movie checks a lot of promising boxes:
- it’s ground breaking animation as the main character is a Black man
- it has a decent storyline with positive messaging
- it looks pretty
But frankly, I enjoyed it the first time as Inside Out.
