An entertaining movie for both me and my kids.

Tanya’s Score: Good*

Rated: PG

Starring: A Bella, a New Boy, the guy from Green Book, Nic Cage

Plot: New York teenager Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) becomes Spider-Man and meets up with five other Spider-Man equivalents from alternate dimensions in order to save all worlds from evil.

Tanya’s Verdict: Typically I’m not a fan of the superhero genre. But this movie was enjoyable for me. The characters were well-written, funny and interesting which set the tone of the film for me right from the beginning. The plot was a bit complicated at times (for me anyway) and I’m sure I didn’t catch all that there was to catch – but in the end, it didn’t really matter. I particularly enjoyed the way the movie highlighted ideas of duty and responsibility, family and friendship. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse was an entertaining movie for both me and my kids.
