Plot: When a dark presence wreaks havoc on a family recently moved into a farmhouse, paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson; Vera Farmiga) volunteer their services.
Tanya’s Verdict: As far as horror movies go, this one is pretty good. It’s got two storylines occurring – one involving an unassuming family recently moved into what turns out to be a disturbingly haunted farmhouse and the other revolves around married couple/paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. Both plots are interesting.
There are plenty of scares and no over-the-top violence or gore (in my opinion). And best of all – it’s loosely based on a true story.
