Kudos to James Franco for making this pretty great movie.

Rated: 14A

Starring: an amazing and unrecognizable James Franco, his kid brother Dave, same old-same old Seth Rogen and a bunch of cameos by: Saul, pretty-boy Zac, Walter White, Peeta, Karen Walker and many many more

Plot: Have you heard about real life writer/actor/director Tommy Wiseau and his masterpiece movie The Room (2003)? If yes – then this movie is based on the making of The Room. If not, this movie is based on real life actor Greg Sestero’s book about the making of the 2003 movie The Room which he starred in alongside his eccentric pal Tommy Wiseau.

Tanya’s Verdict: If you have not seen the unintentionally hilarious movie The Room, then put it on your to-watch list – here are some of its most famous snippets. But even if you  have not, The Disaster Artist pretty much covers it all. This film was laugh-out-loud funny – James Franco has once again outdone himself. Shining a light on Tommy Wiseau’s eccentricities as well as insecurities and hang-ups, The Disaster Artist has just the right balance of hilarity, drama and tension.
