Plot: Two men (Robert Pattinson; Willem Dafoe) tasked with maintaining a lighthouse in the late 1800s struggle to remain sane in their shared isolation.
Tanya’s Verdict: Normally, I don’t mind a strange and bizarre mind f*** of a movie – but this one rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe I just wasn’t in the mood – or maybe it was weird just for the sake of being weird. There are definitely some creepy scenes – and both actors are great in their roles – but I liked The VVitch (2015) better.
