Plot: A shipwrecked man happens upon a red turtle which not only changes the outlook of his future but alters the course of his life.
Tanya’s Verdict: There is no dialogue in this movie. It is also roughly animated. However, neither of these changes the fact that the movie is beautiful and interesting. Also, it was nominated for Best Animated Feature Film of the year at the 2017 Oscar awards. The plot has a fable-like quality to it with no real answers to any questions viewers may have. But this only adds to the movie’s quiet and subtle charm. The kids and I all thoroughly enjoyed it.
