Cute and funny in my memory; hokey and silly in reality.

Tanya’s Score: in between okay and good*

Rated: PG

Starring: sad Sandy, sleepy Peter, smirky Bill

Plot: A lonely Chicago transit worker (Sandra Bullock) saves a commuter’s (Peter Gallagher) life and has her own life turned upside down when she is mistaken for his fiancee.

Tanya’s Verdict: This movie was a lot cuter and funnier in my memory. But in reality, it’s hokey and unrealistic. It just goes to show you that certain movies should remain where they belong – untouched and unscathed in the past – in our memories.
