Plot: Set in the Yukon in 1898, the story follows a gold-hunting young man (Ethan Hawke) and the dog/wolf he finds and rescues.
Tanya’s Verdict: Sometimes a 9-year-old boy gets sick and tired of the rom/coms and horror movies selected by his older sisters and just wants to watch a Disney movie that is perfectly wholesome (if not a tad predictable).
Based on the Jack London novel, this movie is perfect for young kids. It has a bit of drama and adventure and speaks to another time.
