Tanya’s Score: Good*
Rated: 14A
Plot: When a young woman (Chloë Grace Moretz) finds a lost purse on the subway, she doesn’t realize that her good deed will have dangerous and deadly consequences.
Tanya’s Verdict: This film has little in the way of bells and whistles. It’s short and sweet and brings edge-of-your seat tension, suspense and all-around creepiness to the plot with nothing more than some great music and pretty good acting.
The understated and subtle threat weaving its way throughout this film was disturbing to my girls. As far as psychological thrillers go, this one’s pretty decent.
*Four score descriptions: Sh**; Okay; Good; Great
