Tanya’s Score: Good*
Rated: 14A
Starring: Will Hunting; little girl actor all growed up
Plot: A man (Matt Damon) from Oklahoma travels to France to try to prove his imprisoned daughter (Abigail Breslin) innocent of the murder of which she is accused.
Tanya’s Verdict: This is a slow and quiet movie that follows the emotional journey of Damon as a persistent father more than anything else. There is no gruesome murder scene as the movie begins after the fact. My daughter found it boring – but I thought it was pretty good.
*Four score descriptions: Sh**; Okay; Good; Great
For me it was meh. Expected more from Matt Damon. Power of the Dog is fabulous, though. I’d love to read your review of it!
