Tanya’s Score: Okay-and-a-half*
Rated: 14A
Starring: Harry Potter
Plot: In the early 1900s, a young widowed solicitor (Daniel Radcliffe) travels to a remote village on business only to discover that a vengeful ghost is punishing the local townspeople.
Tanya’s Verdict: This is not a bad horror movie but in hindsight it is one of those films that is better watched only once. Once the plot is unravelled, it loses its charm. Still – The Woman in Black a good one for a family of horror movie lovers. It has a little bit of everything: a fresh-faced young man with a tragic past, a creepy mansion, haunted children and a somewhat satisfying conclusion.
