Tanya’s Score: Okay-and-a-half*

Plot: While invisible creatures have driven most of society to commit suicide, a few survivors have banded together in an attempt to reach safety.
Tanya’s Verdict: A cross between the horrible The Happening (2008) and the pretty good A Quiet Place (2018), the Netflix original movie Bird Box ends up being not as bad as I anticipated.
It has a few tense and suspenseful scenes as well as a couple of poignant moments – but the rest is pretty much by-the-book and predictable. Plus, it easily could have been shaved down by about 30 minutes. I will say this – the two young kids in it are pretty darned adorable – a rarity in my opinion when it comes to American movies!
