A slow burn that rattles toward an unsettling conclusion.

Tanya’s Score: Good*

Rated: 14A

Starring: South Korean actors

Plot: When a young man (Ah-In Yoo) bumps into a girl (Jong-seo Jun) he grew up with, he’s inadvertently drawn into her friend’s (Steven Yeun) mysterious hobby.

Tanya’s Verdict: This movie is a bit of a long haul – clocking in at nearly 2 1/2 hours – but it’s worth it. The first half is a slow burn (pun intended) – setting the stage if you will. Then the second half has you on the edge of your seat as everything starts to come together, rattling toward a rather unsettling conclusion.

*Four score descriptions: Sh**; Okay; Good; Great
