Not a bad little film for family movie night.

Tanya’s Score: Okay-and-a-half*

Rated: PG-13

Starring: Emile Hirsch channelling his inner Jack Black; Bruce Dern channelling his inner grizzled parsnip

Plot: A concerned father (Hirsch) keeps his young daughter (Lexy Kolker) locked inside the house for a number of reasons that soon become apparent.

Tanya’s Verdict: This Netflix movie is pretty low-budget but it will have you in suspense – at least for the first bit as the story slowly reveals itself. Once the audience knows what’s going on, it definitely loses a bit of its caché – but all in all – not a bad little film for family movie night.
