Plot: The “frozen” gang must leave home and enter an enchanted forest in order to get to the bottom of Elsa’s (Idina Menzel) magical powers and save Arendelle from destruction.
Tanya’s Verdict: This wasn’t awful BUT I most definitely zoned out here and there. Much of the movie seemed to be focussed on getting audiences through the various plot points rather than actually entertaining us or doing anything especially interesting.
For the most part, the songs were bland although Kristoff’s musical number reminded me of a Moody Blues / Peter Cetera video mash-up which I found amusing. I hope this was intentional.
I could have easily missed this movie and been none the wiser.
