A bit dated – but a great story!

Tanya’s Score: Good*

Rated: 14A

Starring: a dancer, a 30 something and Ricky Stratton’s grandfather

Plot: Four elderly men must revisit a secret from their shared past in order to stop current tragedies from occurring.

Tanya’s Verdict: This is a slow-going thriller from the 80s – which means it takes it’s sweet old time to tell its story while also boasting some quite laughable special effects. That said – the story within this film is great – it’s creepy, it’s unpredictable – and best of all – there is a powerful woman at its core.

If you are a fan of the 1980 thriller The Changeling – then chances are you will like Ghost Story as well.

*Four score descriptions: Sh**; Okay; Good; Great
