Loathsome characters, and an unusual storyline.

Tanya’s Score: Good*

Rated: 14A

Starring: a going girl; Tyrion Lannister; mother of lost boys

Plot: A devious legal guardian (Rosamund Pike) with no moral conscience meets her match when she unwittingly selects her next victim (Dianne Wiest).

Tanya’s Verdict: The interesting thing about this movie is that there is no redeemable main characters – they are all pretty much deplorable and morally corrupt in their own rights. But for me, this didn’t get in the way of my enjoyment of this twisted and unusual storyline.

Side note: I’ve always hated Rosamund Pike – and I Care a Lot does not help her cause. She is perfectly cast as the loathsome Marla Grayson.
