Plot: Based on a memoir, an awkward and (in hindsight) psychotic Jeffrey Dahmer (Ross Lynch) struggles to fit in at high school.
Tanya’s Verdict: My daughter wanted to watch this one – it was most definitely not on my radar; I hadn’t even heard about it. Because of what I do know about Jeffrey Dahmer, this movie was somewhat interesting. But as a stand-alone movie – it just isn’t very compelling or earth-shattering. If you have no idea who Jeffrey Dahmer is – I don’t recommend wasting your time.
That said – Ross Lynch is pretty good in it – and I must give him props for picking recent roles to shed his squeaky clean teen idol image. Hopefully he’ll move on to bigger and better things.
