Plot: A sheltered and homeschooled teenager (Kiera Allen) begins to suspect her mother (Sarah Paulson) of something disturbing.
Tanya’s Verdict: This low-budget, Netflix film does okay with what it has to work with – I guess. But for me, an avid movie-watcher, it takes a lot more to impress me. After watching the opening scene, I figured out the main plot of this film.
As the film progressed, elements became more and more predictable so in the end there was no shocking twist.
Still – I’ve seen worse films. If you are looking for a psychological thriller that is also a no-brainer and do not consider yourself a film-watching fuss-budget (that’s what I am), then you can do worse than Run.
