Flimsy and forgettable.

Tanya’s Score: Okay*

Rated: R

Starring: Henry’s granddaughter; Marriage Story’s muse; Wings guy

Plot: When Allison Jones (Bridget Fonda) advertises for a roommate to share her beautiful New York City apartment, she gets more than she bargained for.

Tanya’s Verdict: Despite this movie being mediocre in almost all respects – it must have had an effect on me as almost 30 years ago when I first saw it – I ran straight out to a hair salon and got the same haircut as Fonda’s character.

Rewatching it all these years later, I realize it’s a flimsy plot with tired characters spruced up with some silly sex scenes – really nothing all that special. And speaking to its forgetability factor – I made the mistake of letting the kids watch it!
