Interesting, heart-wrenching – but way too long and cinematically uninspiring.

Tanya’s Score: Okay-and-a-half*

Rated: PG-13

Starring: Real life identical twins – Alex and Marcus Lewis

Plot: A documentary about Alex Lewis, who loses his memory at the age of 18 after an accident and trusts his twin brother Marcus to fill in the gaps surrounding their childhood. It’s only 30 years later that he discovers Marcus hasn’t been truthful about their shared past.

Tanya’s Verdict: One day while fiddling around on Netflix, this documentary popped up and the description seemed intriguing. And after having watched the film, I can now whole-heartedly state that the plot of this documentary is indeed intriguing and also absolutely heart-wrenching.

But (and there is a but) – this entire movie could have easily been condensed into 45 minutes (rather than its 90 minute running time) and more could have been done in terms of filming to make this doc stand out and be a more compelling film.

*Four score descriptions: Sh**; Okay; Good; Great
