Sillier than I remember.

Tanya’s Score: Okay*

Rated: PG-13

Starring: Alex P. Keaton; Gomez; Elliott’s mom

Plot: A conman who can actually communicate with the dead (Michael J. Fox) must rely on his special talent in order to solve a deadly mystery haunting the people in his town.

Tanya’s Verdict: This is one of those movies better left in the hazy memories of the past. I remember seeing it at the theatre once upon a time. I also remember liking it.

Re-watching it now – I can say for certain that it isn’t awful. But it isn’t all that great either. The story’s a bit silly, the effects are hokey and the acting definitely has its cringey moments.

As for my kids – one left about 20 minutes in, another fell asleep about half-way through and the third (and youngest) quite enjoyed it – cheesiness and all.

*Four score descriptions: Sh**; Okay; Good; Great
