Dated, heavy-handed – but not bad for a thriller.

Tanya’s Score: Good*

Rated: PG-13

Starring: an almost famous Julianne Moore

Plot: A vengeful nanny (Rebecca De Mornay) sets her sights on a woman (Annabella Sciorra) she blames for the death of her family.

Tanya’s Verdict: So this one’s a tad dated, a bit heavy-handed – but still pretty good for a thriller.

To date, this movie still features one of the all-time best “woman going psycho” scenes in a public bathroom stall. As a mother of three, I can actually sympathize with this scene now. If only I could kick the sh** out of a public bathroom stall any time my kids drove me batty – there wouldn’t be a bathroom stall left in existence.

*Four score descriptions: Sh**; Okay; Good; Great
