Tanya’s Score: Okay-and-a-half*

Plot: When a mysterious mist rolls into a small town, the townspeople must fight for their lives against the strange and vicious creatures hidden within.
Tanya’s Verdict: Based on a Stephen King book, this film is rife with interesting characters placed in a desperate situation. The effects are a bit cheesy in my opinion; the movie’s much more tense before you actually see anything gory.
Reminiscent of the scary Saturday afternoon movies my brother and I would watch growing up, I think this one’s good for kids – if they can handle some blood and gore.
And without giving too much away, the heart wrenching end to this movie is what elevated my score from just “okay”.
