Plot: Police detective Frank Drebin (Leslie Nielsen) pulls out all the ridiculous stops in order to prevent the assassination of Queen Elizabeth II during her visit to the U.S.
Tanya’s Verdict: Just as ridiculous as ever, this one was funnier in my memory. That’s not to say it isn’t funny – it is. But if comparing The Naked Gun to Airplane, I have to say the latter is funnier than the former. Although my kids would disagree.
I need to re-watch The Naked Gun sequel next . . . stay tuned for a mini-review on that one.
