Plot: A mockumentary following several vampires living together in present day New Zealand and all the day-to-day obstacles they must overcome.
Tanya’s Verdict: I thought this movie was hilarious the first time I saw it and I’m happy to report it’s just as funny the second time as well. The humour is sometimes silly, sometimes gory, sometimes unpredictable. Yet the level of seriousness these actors bring to their roles can actually fool you into thinking you are watching an honest-to-goodness documentary – think This Is Spinal Tap (1984).
My kids enjoyed it too – although I forgot that there is some inappropriate sex talk as well several grisly and downright disturbing scenes.
