Racist. Sexist. And just plain awful.

Tanya’s Score: Sh**

Rated: PG-13

Starring: siblings; Dexter’s sister; Home Alone’s dad

Plot: In order to foil a potential kidnapping, two FBI agents (Marlon Wayans; Shawn Wayans) go undercover as wealthy sisters.

Tanya’s Verdict: How this movie is still readily available on Netflix is beyond all my comprehension. This movie is racist, sexist and just all-around not good.

Years ago, I apparently started watching this one with my oldest daughter but made her shut it off after about 15 minutes. All this time later, she felt she was missing out on something as she really wanted to watch it – and so I went against my better judgment and acquiesced.

Here’s a taste of some truly tasteless plot elements within this piece of crap:

  • the “n” is thrown about – and while most of the white characters are at first reluctant to utter this awful word, they realize it’s okay when the two white chicks they are hanging out with use it while singing
  • Terry Crewes’ character attempts to buy one of the white chicks’ love during an auction and when that doesn’t work, plans to drug her drink

Not to mention that the Wayan brothers look like CGI gone wrong in their freakish-looking disguises. Perhaps I’m not giving their fellow actors credit where credit is due – because they were able to co-act with these two mutants without visibly cringing.

*Four score descriptions: Sh**; Okay; Good; Great
