Sweet and funny – though a tad predictable.

Tanya’s Score: Okay-and-a-half*

Rated: PG-13

Starring: a bunch from Fresh Off The Boat; John Wick

Plot: Childhood friends (Ali Wong; Randall Park) turned teenaged sweethearts grow apart, lose touch and meet up again as adults.

Tanya’s Verdict: This Netflix original was a pleasant surprise – especially after the mess of Murder Mystery. It was sweet and at times quite funny. Though intentionally or not, it’s Keanu Reeves who steals the show.

That said, this cute and funny movie fell just short of good for me only because of the predictability and all-around fluffiness of it. But all in all, not a bad way to spend 100 minutes.
